About Megabits of Gaming

Pull up a chair, grab your controller, relax a little and enjoy…Megabits of Gaming is written by gamers for gamers. Our remit is simple, to make this the place to read about the best (or Mega) bits of gaming – the crème de la crème of video games – past, present and future.

We’re not fanboys – and show no bias towards any one console, developer or genre – we merely reflect what we, as gamers, see as some of the most intriguing and exciting issues. We’re proud of our gaming heritage and the experiences we’ve loved and lost; nostalgia therefore plays just as important a role in our content as evolution.

Fancy becoming a part of the Megabits team? Think you can write intelligent, pithy and balanced content - or at least match the standard of our stuff? Why not fill in the application form with your details, a bit of your gaming history and what you reckon you can bring to the party.

HISTORY OF GAMING - PLATFORMS OWNED:
Megadrive, PlayStation, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC

GREATEST GAMING MEMORY:
The climax of Deus Ex - in a world of endless grey, where your allies can turn to enemies in a moment, do you chose the path of destruction, forced democracy, or seize the hand-behind-the-throne? "It's up to you, JC." Well, that or sniping the pilot of a blackhawk helicopter on Battlefield Bad Company 2, sending the bird crashing through a building - and killing 12 other gamers in one fell swoop
ALL-TIME FAVOURITE GAME:
Deus Ex - best game ever, bar none. I refuse to play it for fear it won't be as good as it is in my rose tinted memories...
