NeoGeo X handheld to be unleashed
A new NeoGeo handheld console will be released into the gaming world in the second quarter of 2012. Japan’s SNK Playmore, Retro console firm Blaze and US distributor Tommo will bring the NeoGeo X handheld console to market. But start saving as it is rumoured the price tag will be around £500.


Diablo III to be released in May
More undead, monsters, and demons are about to get slayed after Blizzard Entertainment confirmed Diablo III will be released on 15 May. The next title in dark fantasy/horror-themed action role-playing franchise will be released simultaneously worldwide on PC and Mac.


Sony confirms Ratchet & Clank Trilogy
Happy days for Lombax and gadget fans, Sony has confirmed that a Ratchet & Clank Trilogy game will be available for PS3. The bundle includes Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Locked & Loaded and Ratchet & Clank 3.


Transformers Prime coming to Nintendo
According to Joystiq, Transformers Prime games - based on the cartoon TV series - are being brought onto the Nintendo 3DS and Wii later this year by Activision. Players will be able to take control of Autobot favourites such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Ratchet.


Ubisoft’s Rocksmith to be released in the UK
CVG says that Rocksmith, a game which aims to provide an authentic guitar learning experience, is due to be released in the UK in September for PS3 and Xbox 360. The game, which was launched in the US last year, lets players develop techniques by plugging any real electric guitar into their console.
