Megabits' Pick Of Gaming's Biggest Bad Guys 2

The bigger they come, the harder they fall. There's nothing more satisfying that sending huge bosses to an early grave. Here, we continue our run down of our pick of the biggest and best bad guys in gaming...

Check out part one after the jump.

Be warned... there may be BIG spoilers ahead!

5) KNRB-O Argus robot

Sliding around on your backside in your super shiny space suit, and taking on the massive Argus robot will be etched in your mind long after the credits roll. Those devious Russians built this machine to conquer worlds but I bet you didn't expect to meet it so early in the game? Just when you think you've killed the bloody thing, it gets even bigger and badder... we're talking bipedal!

4) Leviathan
Resistance 2

Measuring several hundred feet high, this chimera roams the windy city in Resistance 2 and causes a bit of a headache for the locals. Shooting him in the head a few times seems to do the trick though - lucky you've got some kickass guns at hand, eh?

3) The Hive Mind
Dead Space

By the time you venture out of those creepy dark corridors, you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd already had your fair share of scares. You weren't banking on the Hive Mind being so massive though, were you? Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse... a big tentacle thingy attacks.

2) Collusi
Shadow of the Colussus

The game is full of some of the biggest enemies you'll ever face, and they all look suitably foreboding. Fathoming how to kill this guys before they crush you is the challenge. They look so damn great it seems a shame to hurt them really.

1) Cronos
God of War III

He may not be the biggest on this list - he's far smaller than a planet(!) - but Cronos takes the crown as our favourite big guy gone bad. The sheer sense of scale as you clamber up his body is absolutely awesome. Cronos, you're the biggest badass around!
